My full review of Battle Royal. Mind you I am not a good writer and can barley spell so if you are still reading well that is on you bud.

So we all know the story of Battle Royal so I am not going to talk about the book as a hole more the difference I saw between it and the movie. We all know that books have way more details then a movie made off the book does but with this book they took the emotion to a hole new level. In the movie I thought it was awesome they were killing each other off, but in the book I truly got to know the people and saw them as that instead of a gory scene. The relationships between the classmates and the honor they had for trying to fight back(well most of them) was enough to make me mad and sad through out the book. It also brought a little fear of the people who were ok with killing off the people they had grown up with.

A other big difference I saw was in the book the collars do not explode like in the movie. I mean they can but that is not some big chunk like it the movie. I can understand why in the book it was not needed as much as in the movie being in the movie well it was awesome to see. In the book I would have been a sad dude to hear about someone else dying a horrible death.

All in all the book was amazing and I thank you Hank a bunch for letting me re-visit something so awesome I had almost forgot about.


I will be getting the book back to you this week before camping but try and pick something else out for me that I can check out while we are gone.

I am not too far into battle royal, and I have read it before but man I must have drank that all away. The book so far kicks the ever living shit out of the movie. I love the movie don't get me wrong but this book is amazing. I can't get enough of the details about the government and the lives of the kids. Really shows just how fucked up the idea is. In the movie you kinda get a view of that but mostly you are just jamming out to some bad ass killing. With the book I actually feel bad when people die. The only thing I could say that is bad about the book so far is that if sara nut job paulin gets a hold of it she might try to make it happen. Just with people who didn't vote for her instead of kids.

I am doing this journal because I like Hanks one for books. Well I am going to be doing one like that but I am going to add a few things.
